Introduction for the book.

“There will be some special modifications that we will have to do. I have discussed it with the team of body repair technicians and we all feel the modifications will work out and improve the looks,” the young, rather handsome man spoke.

The woman sat at a desk not five feet from him looking over a note pad. She was sitting with her legs crossed and was twisting her dark hair around her right pointer finger. “There’s a lot of detail in these pages, Doc,” she said.

“It will take about two days to tear down and reassemble,” he said.

“Do you have a loner car for me?” she asked.

“Yes, I’ll have that arranged by the time we start,” he answered.

She flipped a few more pages and yawned. She rubbed her eyes and put the note pad on the desk. She stood and walked over to the large bay windows and noticed that all the tools were clean and put away neatly.

“Do you have a day in mind?” she asked.

“Next week. That way we have the team fully assembled,” he answered.

“OK. Have your people call my people and we’ll do lunch,” she said trying to relieve the tension in the room by offering a cliché.

“Kat,” the doc said.

“Yes, Doc.”

“We will be careful with her,” he said.

“No worries, Doc. I’m actually excited about the opportunity.”

“It’s a big step for this project.”

“I’m thrilled to be a part of it. Call me when you’re ready.”

“We will. Go home and get some rest,” he said.

“I will.”

He watched her walk out of the office and he smiled and shook his head. “What a character.”
